Hobbies & Entertainment

Hard work and serious study do not make life interesting and worth living.  After a hard work we become tired. We need rest.  Sleeping is not rest.  It is something other than the main work that makes life worth living.  Naturally a hobby would add a pleasure to one’s life.  Hobby what does it mean?  A hobby is a person’s favorite occupation outside routine of life.  It is in fact a favorite pastime and a source of pleasure.  It helps a man to cast away his worries at least for some time.  Each one of us, desires for and to escape from the monotony of his/her daily duties and tries to engage, oneself to something unusual and interesting.  But most of us have no hobby.  Only rich and well to do people can have hobbies.  A humble man has no time for the hobbies.  He has no resources to copy them who are well off.

                Photography, stamp collections, painting, coin-collection, travelling are some of the hobbies.  But these are costly hobbies.  One has to spend money for these.  The choice of a hobby depends upon the constitution and temperament of a man.  A man who is not fit for outdoor activities cannot take up hunting as hobby as this requires a considerable amount of hard work.

                Gardening is my hobby.  There is a small piece of land behind my house.  There is a bore well which can supply water to my garden.  I have some flowering plants.  I take very much care.  I put manure.  I water them regularly.  I also have a kitchen garden.  I grow vegetables.  They are very useful to me. I get fresh vegetables for my home. I feel very happy to water the plants and clean the garden.  I spend my time usefully.

             All the educational studies are not improving our knowledge.  Entertainments are also improving our knowledge with our education.   Entertainment is a relaxation of our mind with useful way.  Movies, Gaming, Television and Radio are some of the Entertainments.  But these are not used to our day to day life.  They are decreasing our mind flow and creativity in modern days.  So we select an entertainment to improve our knowledge with relaxation.

                My Entertainment is web browsing.   Browsing is a good entertainment with our mind relaxation.  In this web world contains lot of information and studies like music, videos, sharing, email, studies, chatting, contacts and gaming.   I was searching the web for improving the mind.  Browsing is to give pleasant mind with a useful entertainment.  In this browsing experience I earn money from online.
